Job Description

This position will be at the forefront of our showroom sales operations, facilitating payment transactions with customers and maintaining an organized inventory of our office and IT equipment products. This role requires meticulous cash handling, ensuring proper documentation of sales, and keeping a keen eye on stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point-of-Sale Operations: Handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely deposits. Operate POS systems and manage daily cash reconciliations.
  • Cash Deposits: Safely and accurately deposit daily cash takings in line with company procedures.
  • Showroom Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, conduct periodic stock counts, and update inventory records.
  • Liaison with Finance & Procurement: Coordinate with the finance department for daily sales reconciliations and with procurement for inventory replenishments.
  • Maintain Showroom: Ensure the sales showroom layout is organized, clean, and products are displayed appropriately.

 

Qualification and Requirement
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a retail cashier role.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles.
